How do I create a new mess as a Manager (Admin)?

Sign into Messliner, select "Create New Mess" in the onboarding wizard, set your mess name, pick meal times to track (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), configure cutoff lock times, and get your unique 6-digit invite code to share with housemates.

How do I join an existing mess as a Member?

Register account with your email and password, select "Join Existing Mess" in the wizard screen, enter the 6-digit invite code provided by your Mess Manager, and connect instantly.

How do I download the Native Mobile or Desktop App?

You can download the Android App file directly from our website by clicking the "Download" button. For Desktop (Windows/Mac) you can browse our website from your browser.

How does Messliner calculate the Meal Rate (Bazar Ratio)?

Messliner supports two calculation modes: Dynamic Bazar Ratio (sums total grocery expenses and divides them by total consumed meals) and Fixed Meal Rate (manager sets a fixed taka price per meal). Both calculate in real-time.

Can members turn off meals for specific days?

Yes! Members can toggle their individual meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) ON or OFF in advance. Mess managers set daily cutoff lock times (e.g. 7 AM Breakfast, 8 AM Lunch, 4 PM Dinner) to prevent late cancellations and food waste.

What happens to fixed mess expenses like Rent, Wifi, and Cook Salary?

Messliner has a dedicated Fixed Expense Manager. Shared utility costs (Cook salary, house rent, wifi, gas) are divided equally among active mess members independent of their consumed meal count.

Is my mess data safe and private?

Absolutely. We use Google Firebase Realtime Database with strict Database Security Rules & SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption. Only authorized members of your specific mess group can view or interact with your ledger.
